Stratovarius成立于1984年，由三个来自芬兰、赫尔辛基的三个年轻人组成，他们分别是鼓手兼主唱Tuomo Lassila，贝斯手John Vihervaauml以及吉他手Staffan Straaringahlman。在他们正式取名为Stratovarius之前这三人以Black Water的名字对外演出。
《Forever》是芬兰国宝级前卫金属乐队Stratovarius(灵云乐队)最抒情的一首歌，有很多的金属乐队都会有关于“永远”的歌曲，比如Forever，Eternity，Farewell等，其中不乏经典。Stratovarius - Forever出自1996年专辑Episode，优美的旋律，悠扬的风琴，主唱纯净的嗓音…宛如一丝微风，带着淡淡的忧愁，在耳边飘过…
Forever是我最早喜欢上的一首外文歌曲之一,始于02还是03年左右,最早听到这首单曲是在韩国电视剧<初恋>片尾曲中,时至今日,仍然对当时的情景记忆犹新,这部电视剧描述了两个恋人因两个家庭的纠纷,最后导致的爱情悲剧.
